What does Rayne Nouvelle offer?

Rayne Nouvelle offers two basic products: Designer Jewelry and the Exclusive Design Service.

The first is a set of designs, usually separated into collections based on style and theme, which can be purchased as displayed or modified to fit your own requirements/needs. The goal of our Designer Collections is to extend to our clients pieces that are limited in number and scarcely found on another person, heightening the experience of having a piece of jewelry that can be envied after for its beauty and rarity.

The Exclusive Design Service is our mark of dedication which renders each of our clients as the owner of an unquestionably one-of-a-kind piece. We affectionately call it 'client-inspired' jewelry. From start to finish, our clients are guided through an exciting, comprehensive design process during which they are in direct communication with the Designer. Rayne Nouvelle guarantees that the end product is always exactly what our clients envisioned when they purchased the Exclusive Design Service, down to each and every specific detail.

Why are there only computer images of the jewelry on the site?

Rayne Nouvelle makes everything per order, even the items in the collections. This way, we can guarantee that your jewelry was made specifically for you and according to your requirements. That's right- you can modify anything you see on the site to fit your individual needs. In the case of rings, most jewelry stores make their jewelry in bulk and in only one size, which necessitates a resizing of the ring in most cases. Rayne Nouvelle creates jewelry one at a time and per the requirements of that individual client, so that they know that their piece was born specifically for them.

How much does an Exclusive Design cost?

The major factors that determine the price of your Exclusive design are as follows:
- Type of Metal.
- Weight of Metal.
- Type of Gemstones.
- Weight of Gemstones.
- Quantity of Gemstones.
Generally, most of the rings that we have made for our clients do not exceed $6000, and the semi-mounts are typically less than $4500, even with pave diamonds.

How long will it take to get my jewelry?

Once the piece is designed to your specifications, you can expect your jewelry to be completed in under four weeks from the order date. Because this is fine jewelry that is created for your individual needs, we take a little longer to ensure the quality of the piece will meet or exceed your investment and your sense of value.

An Exclusive Design’s turn-around time is completely up to the client and the intricacy of the piece. Typically, an Exclusive Design undergoes two revisions after the initial CAD renders are sent. We ask that the client allows at least eight weeks to have their Exclusive Design digitally rendered and cast, though Rayne Nouvelle often creates these pieces in as little as five weeks.

What are my limitations?

When creating Client-Inspired Design with Rayne Nouvelle, your limitations are both few and ‘common sense’ when dealing with Fine Jewelry. Please review the below information.

Base Metals

Base metals, such as aluminum, steel, graphite, copper and the like, are ill representations of fine jewelry, being of little to no value and making ineffective pieces. Rayne Nouvelle works only with the precious metals: 14 K, 18K & 22K Gold (Black, Green, White and Yellow), Sterling Silver, Palladium, Platinum and Titanium.

Plastics and Glass

For obvious reasons, Rayne Nouvelle does not create jewelry out of any plastic or composite and only uses glass to package and present your jewelry.

Wood

Although Rayne Nouvelle uses nature as inspiration for most of its designs, we do not use wood as an available material by which one can create a design. We also try to keep the use of non-recycled cardboard and paper down to a minimum.

Fur, Leather and Bone

Rayne Nouvelle prides itself as being a nature-friendly company, thus we will not offer any animal product as an available material in the creation of jewelry. Fossils, synthetic fur and synthetic leather may be used on request.

Design Integrity

This is not as much of a limitation as it is a precaution. At Rayne Nouvelle, we are interested in providing a piece that will last a lifetime, so your designer may advise against certain modifications/adjustments to your Exclusive Design, such as extreme thinness of prongs, inadequate metal to set stones or minerals and other potential changes which may weaken your design.
